Swan Group Continues to Push on at Exchequer Row Development as Strip-Out Works Make Considerable Progress.
Swan Group is pleased to see the Exchequer House development making strong progress in recent weeks as strip-out works enter the final phases. The development stands as a key component within the company pipeline thanks to the array of development potential and advantages for future occupants, most notably its prime location being positioned within Aberdeen’s City Centre and close proximity to Union Street.
Located on the North-East coast of Scotland, Aberdeen has grown to become one of the United Kingdom’s most sought-after areas to live and work. While previously being considered mostly a tourist hotspot, in recent years the city has begun to attract many looking to re-locate and benefit from what the city has to offer on a permanent basis. As a result, the city has grown to attract a large cohort of young professionals, families and couples aiming to benefit from the low cost of living, high overall employment rates and high wages.
Swan Groups proposed development comprises 37 flatted dwellings, which will be a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom flats in addition to duplexes set within the four-story block. The renovation process involves a full conversion from the existing office space to residential apartments, with much of the external structure remaining largely unchanged. As full planning consent has been granted, the team are awaiting the conclusion of all strip-out works which will subsequently trigger the full refurbishment to commence.
